Discouragement is the loss of confidence and enthusiasm, often happening when the body and mind are tired. Typically, these episodes
are remedied with food and a good night's sleep -
re-energizing one for the next day's battle.
However, a person can become extremely discouraged when, over a long period of time, he or she is faced with set-back after set-back.
The constant frustration of nothing ever seeming to go right and no light at the end of the tunnel can creat great feelings of Doubt
making one seriously begin thinking of quiting.
Quitting is a permanent "solution" to a temporary problem!
It is important to understand that
every Success and Failure begins in THOUGHT. So, when one becomes
discouraged
and begins thinking that they are a
loser, they will subconsciously find or invent ways to lose.
However, if one learns to defeat discouragement by taking on the thoughts of a winner - they will then instinctively know
how to win.
