What is real success?
Have you ever noticed that we seldom introduce or talk about someone simply as "a success?" We would probably be perplexed if someone
were introduced to us simply as, "This is John, he's a success." Our first question would be, "A success at what? Sports?
Business? Movies? Something else?" Generally speaking, society views successful people as those that either make a lot of money or are
famous.
However, "We" believe that REAL SUCCESS only happens when one has authentic happiness in his or her life, which does not typically include
great wealth or notoriety. We came to that conclusion after observing supposedly successful people in places like Hollywood,
Washington DC, and professional sports - where you'd expect to find a lot of happy people.
Yet, many of them are anything but happy!!!
In fact, a large number of them are so unhappy that they turn to drugs, entertainment, and immorality in an effort to create a feeling of
happiness.
Success, Happiness, Pleasure seeking.
History shows that seeking pleasure for pleasure's sake is a hollow activity and often ends up creating dependencies and addictions that
ruins lives. A great example of this can be seen in the life of
Darryl Strawberry, who may have been the greatest baseball player to
ever put on the uniform, but who, unfortunately, traded his money, fame, and career for drugs.
It wasn't until after he had been permanently barred from professional baseball and had lost his fortune that he was able to kick the habit,
turn his life around, and find true happiness without fame or fortune.
Please don’t misunderstand us, there is nothing wrong with the pleasures that accompany good things like a family meal,
a movie with a loved one, or being intimate with one’s spouse. Pleasures enjoyed as the "side-affects" of moral, ethical,
and loving situations are “frosting on the cake”, but should never be the main course.
It is hard to find happiness in a life that is plagued with Doubt, Debt, and Discouragement, but fortunately, the 3-D's are
Self-Inflicted problems and can be overcome. We have proven programs and tools to help one to take control of the 3-D's and
become a real Success Story!
The following stories are about two individuals who were able to overcome their obstacles and find more success in their lives using
this proven program.
Success Story 1: The first step of Success is having a worthwhile dream.
This is the story of an average individual who worked for Frito Lays in Canada and every year ranked somewhere in the middle
of the 2700 Canadian employees. That is, until he invested in himself by working the
"Launching a Leadership
Revolution" personal/professional self-improvement course.
Through this course, he learned how to dream again and improved his attitude and self-esteem. In just a few months, he moved from
the middle of the pack to number "16" in the company. This was not a trick, but rather the magic of his discovering who he really
was, finding his dream, and unleashing the greatness that was already in him.
Employee Improvement Story 2: The second step to Success is to invest in
one's self.
The Launching a Leadership Revolution program also helped a young Arizona woman who had an unremarkable job and was making about
thirty thousand a year. Because she found and began working the program she gained enough self-esteem to apply for a position
within her company that she previously wouldn't have believed she was qualified for.
Unfortunately, her several of her coworkers were not supportive and tried to convince her that she was wasting her time. She eventually
succumbed to their "negativity" and went to retrieve her application - only to be told that they wanted to interview her. She was hired
for the position, which paid $189,000 per year! Being in a good program helped her to develop her dream, a feeling of
self-worth, and the habit of thinking like a winner.
We can show you how to hope and dream again...
...how to make happiness your new normal!
